Annual Management Fest - Explorica encompasses management games like Management Quiz, Logo, Debate, Extempore, Role Play, Cultural, Sports, etc. Institute invites Business men and Spokesperson from Industries and corporate. Student’s from other B School participates in the Event.
Annual NGO MelaKartavya houses NGOs from across the states and provides them an opportunity to sell their products. In addition, free eye-testing camp; free health check-up camp, organ donation programme, Joy of Giving Week and many other programmes are conducted to transform students into socially responsible individuals.
We are a managing Partner in Saras Exhibition with Government of Maharashtra. As we believe in practical learning, we ensure that our students work on live projects and internships. SIMSR proudly partnered and managed the Government of Maharashtra’s Exhibition MAHALAXMI SARAS. This event is an effort of government to provide market place to rural entrepreneurs and artisans. Claimed to be one of the biggest rural exhibitions in the country, this exhibition is surely a melting pot of multiple cultures and cuisines even. Find handicraft products made of jute, terracotta, metal, bamboo etc. This is an excellent learning opportunity for students.

Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) are designed to train and develop professionals in teaching pedagogy and their subject so that they can act as resource persons in guiding and motivating young students to take up managerial roles in their careers.
Sasmira’s Institute of Management Studies and Research have established Management Research Centre and its contribution to the development of management research studies is widely recognized. The Research Centre encourages students, faculty members and professionals to take up industry sponsored research programmes with an objective to facilitate original and high quality research and consultancy.
