The Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) program is a 2 years full-time Postgraduate program, offered at Sasmira’s Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR), one of the top colleges for MMS in Mumbai, affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra.
The Mater’s degree in management is an internationally valued course which prepares individuals to develop a futuristic and result oriented approach as corporate managers. It emphasises on individual development, skill based learning that concentrates on enhancing leadership, team management and critical and analytical acumen of students.
The MMS course follows the University of Mumbai syllabus for its four semesters. The Ist and the IInd semester are General Management semesters and the IIIrd and the IVth semesters are the Specialisation semesters. MMS course of SIMSR offers all five specialisations – Finance, Marketing, Human Resource (HR), Operations and Information Technology (Systems) as demanded by the industry.
To provide practical and on the job experience to the students, there is summer internship project in which students join company as an intern and get exposure of learning by doing after the second semester of the MMS course. In the fourth Semester, students have to complete three projects based on Functional Specialisation, General Management and Social Relevance which helps them in understanding real world complexities and situation, helping them in developing analytical and rational thinking.
MMS course offered by SMSR provides an opportunity to understand the dynamics of Finance, Marketing, Human resource Management, Systems (IT) and Operations. For admission in MBA/MMS (Master of Management Studies) course batch 2024-2026 Candidate has to deposit Tuition and Development fees of Rs 1,72,000/- (As Approved by the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA) + Activity charges (As per the Institute Fee Structure)
