At SIMSR we believe that Visuals are always well understood and comprehended than reading or listening, the concept of Industrial Visits is being implemented. Our Industrial Visits provide a platform for the students to explore in reality all the theories learned during classroom hours. An industrial visit is an organized tour planned by the institute with the objective of providing practical insights into the management theories learned. Finance students would like to see how a bank works in reality or how the stock markets work in principle, thus our visit to BSE or NSE would make a Finance student actually relate the theories to reality. Similarly, a visit to an industrial plant would make a management student practically understand many management functions as he personally sees the operations of the plant. Another advantage of having an industrial visit is that a management student gets an opportunity to interact with the actual persons on field; they can understand the issues and problems and get a feel of the solution first-hand. Thus, the concept of the industrial visit is an important bridge for the students to understand the management concepts in the practical sense. It definitely widens the thought process of the students, ultimately benefitting them in the longer run.
