Dr. Priyanka Sharma

Dr. Priyanka Sharma has over 14 years of academic experience and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Sasmira's Institute of Management Studies and Research. She holds a Ph.D. in Management, an MBA with specializations in Finance and Marketing, and an M.Com., in which she secured the University Topper position and was awarded a Gold Medal. She has also qualified the UGC-NET (JRF) and SLET examinations in Management.
Dr. Sharma has extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering courses in Financial Management, E-Commerce, Accounting for Managers, Cost and Management Accounting, Research Methodology, Financial Markets and Services, Investment Management and Security Analysis, Working Capital Management, Principles of Management, Business Environment, and Corporate Valuation, Mergers and Acquisitions.
An accomplished academician and researcher, she has published 29 research papers in national and international journals and presented over 40 research papers at regional, national, and international seminars and conferences. She is also the author of two academic books and has received Best Paper Awards at several national and international conferences in recognition of her research contributions.
Dr. Sharma actively contributes to academic and institutional development through her involvement in various committees and by organizing and participating in Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), webinars, conferences, and workshops. She has served as a resource person for academic sessions at various institutions and has successfully guided undergraduate and postgraduate students, including BBA, MBA, and M.Com. scholars, in the completion of their research dissertations. Her commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and academic leadership continues to make a significant contribution to the institute's academic environment.
