Prof. Gaurang Sampat has over 15 years of teaching experience in management education, having taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business Analytics, Operations Management, Logistics Management, Technology Strategy, Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Consumer Behaviour.
He holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology, an MBA in Marketing, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM). His Ph.D. in Finance is near completion. His doctoral research, titled "Perception and Behaviour of Generation Z Towards Digital Payment Adoption in Mumbai: An Empirical Analysis," examines the factors influencing digital payment adoption among Generation Z consumers in Mumbai.
His academic interests include FinTech, Digital Payments, Consumer Behaviour, Business Analytics, Quantitative Research Methods, and Sustainable Finance. He has authored three Scopus-indexed research publications, presented papers at national and international conferences, and received the Best Research Paper Award at an international conference.
His expertise includes SPSS, SmartPLS (PLS-SEM), quantitative research methods, and multivariate data analysis. He adopts an application-oriented approach to teaching by integrating case studies, practical examples, and experiential learning to bridge academic concepts with real-world business practices
