Prof. Shawn Langford

Shawn is an educator, mentor, and problem-solver with close to 8 years of experience in management education. He has worked across three institutions, including SIMSR, GNVS Institute of Management, and K.C. College of Engineering and Management Studies. At SIMSR, he teaches AI in HR, Compensation & Benefits, Corporate Strategy, Organizational Behavior, International Business, and HRM. He also serves as Head of Examination (Controller of Examinations), IQAC Member, and Social Media Lead.
Shawn is an AIMA BizLab Certified Trainer and delivers Management and Faculty Development Programs, including a program on structured decision-making in AI-augmented workplaces. He has published research in an ABDC B-ranked journal and a peer-reviewed journal. He mentors 20+ students and has introduced regular online certifications to sharpen their job-market edge.
From streamlining examinations to driving digital outreach, Shawn brings structure to institutional processes while keeping innovation at the core. He is always open to conversations on MDPs, FDPs, and institutional collaborations.
